Giff

The Giff are a spacefaring race with a militaristic culture, resembling humanoid hippopotamuses. They make their living as mercenaries, selling their martial skills to the highest bidder. Their homeworld is lost to them and as a result, have become intensely cliquish, they will refuse to fight against their own kind, regardless of treasure promised.
