Phillipe Luis de Gryphon

Phillipe Luis de Gryphon is the second child of Linathandra Winddancer and Raoul Guillaime de Gryphon. Unlike his more boisterous older sister, Lucrecia, Phillipe takes after his more reserved mother rather than his flamboyant father. He has always been a serious person, even as a child, but it is out of a deep concern for his family.
While Raoul had the vision and creativity to see that the fine woods and crafts of the High Forest elves would find a receptive market in Waterdeep and Lina was observant and insightful about potential clients, Phillipe had a better business sense than either of his parents and was able to position the family as the purveyors of fine goods and crafts they are today. When a client is referred to the de Gryphones for their rare woods or artifacts, Phillipe is the one to meet and interview them. His records are meticulous.
His husband, Alsandyr Dawnbreeze, is an artist from one of the High Forest tribes of elves. They met on one of Phillipe’s business trips into the forest and bonded over their mutual love of wood carving. The couple have six children, most of them adopted. One of them is Fiego’s cousin, Vargas.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Phillipe is a slender man with darker brown hair than his sister’s, cut short. He is usually very serious and dresses in muted clothing that is still of very fine materials and cut. He wears a pair of spectacles when working and a subtle squint when not.
