Dwellers on the Thresholds

Countless worlds there are out there, and their doorways all lead to the world between worlds, the bridge of stars, the palace of mirrors, and all other forms of Thresholds that connect existence.   Within the Thresholds, the powerful leave behind impressions wherever they go, echoes that others can follow. Once there were those so powerful, even an eternity later do we still find their echoes. Some follow those to find hints on how to gain more power. Others follow them to find out why they disappeared, as to avoid the same fate.
