Elf

Elves are the first born people of Popeth DanHaul invested with the intuitive knowledge of the firmament required to compose and sing songs that alter reality. They can be recognized by an unmistakable halo of light around their heads.
When an elf experiences grief, their eyes harden to the likeness of stone. The accute effects of this process are intense, but temporary. The long term effects are subtle, but compounding.
An Elf's heritage is evinced in the coloration of their eyes. There are three distinct bloodlines of elves with various branches, and without a dwarf's eyes for minerals, it can be dificult to bear in mind their relations.
