A Reply from Lyall

Vrinn, Myself and Loer have been worried about you; it is good to see that letters are finally getting past the barrier again. We spoke with the royals, and I did not bother trying to push for your return. I knew you would have your heart set on remaining in Crypha. I do hope you will take every measure to be safe and that you will look out for your sister since you are both reunited there. We had to keep Dianelys and Silith from trying to run after the both of you. I am not sure that Loer could have taken any more of the children being in Crypha. Ingrid sends her regards as well, and she tried to get me to write down a long list of reminders. I politely reminded her that she is capable of writing her own letters and that you are more than capable of looking after yourself (don't prove me wrong, or I may never hear the end of it).     On the subject of my mother, Mars and Hela have come to speak with me a few times. Once shortly after I married Ingrid, and then again after Phaedra was born. Both of them know far more than I, seeing as my mother abandoned me when I was a newborn at the steps of one of her temples. While mother raised both of them, neither had any kind words for her. Hela took her brother and hid him from her, but both were old enough to remember the pain she had brought them and the world. I could arrange for you to speak with Hela, if you desire it?     I do not want to tell you what to believe, Vrinn. It has always been my greatest hope that you would take all that you have learned and shape that into a belief of your own. We will always love you, and Lux Brumalis will always be your home no matter what you believe or do.     Until you return, Your Guardian, Lyall Dawn.   (The back of the letter is signed by Dianelys, Silivren, and Silith.)
