I thought it would be Evan that we lost first. He is reckless and acts with a logic all his own. I didn’t know that Pandora was the same.  

I know she was trying to protect Cassander, but honestly… She needed to run. Severine screamed at us to run, and she was safe, Evan got her out. What were Pandora and Illara thinking? They *stayed* to do what? We don’t have the strength to rise against an immortal such as Severine’s father.

But she’s gone now and I can’t be angry with her. I can’t focus.

I am so hungry and so weak. My strength is all but spent and we have days to go before we reach the Dalvath camp. I just need to hold on until they’re safe. Then I can leave. I can feed.
