Entry 9: The Return

Pandora’s back. She’s changed.

She’s not Pandora but she is. I can’t even pretend to understand what magic went into doing this to her. Hiding an entire person underneath a facade for an entire lifetime, what sort of organization does this? While I am glad they did, because I can’t imagine a life where I did not know Pandora, is it good? Is it right? They suppressed an entire other person underneath a false layer, a layer that I want to be true so badly. A layer that Pandora’s wife likely wishes to pick away… and I can’t blame her. If the love of my life had this thing done to them, I would move mountains to bring them back to me.

Regardless, I am glad that our friend and companion is returned but I am afraid of the tenuous hold she has on herself. Sometimes, I feel the same.
