Leverett

The Mortal Goddess, Queen of The Boneyard, Our Lady of Final Judgement

"I hear those who cry for justice, and when you stand before me it will be them that decide your fate,"
- The Mortal Goddess

About

When the world was young and the gods had barely finished hanging the sun in the sky, Leverett was a washerwoman in the new Kingdom of Athanor. The first Paragon of Justice had been tasked to find the one who would rule the boneyard, in that journey he found Leverett by the water one spring day. Disguising himself as a distraught nobleman he asked the washerwoman for her advice, to give him her thoughts on what must be done.   Feeling that Leverett passed his first test he stole Leverett away to the land of his lord, The Titan of Judgement, where Leverett watched the great titan and studied the teaching that had been gathered from the world before. Under the guidance of the Justice Paragon Leverett began her service as the entity that judged souls before they went to their eternal rest. During this time, Leverett had not yet ascended, still mortal even while doing the duties that were meant for a god.    The Mortal Goddess began to advise others on how to build their justice systems, and how to punish those who have done wrong, slowly amassing those who worshiped her. During this time, a man known only as The Captor attempted to take her into his possession, to force her to pass justice as he desired. Leverett refused, even as The Captor inflicted torture that most mortals could not endure for a moment. Fourty-days passed, and when Leverett thought she could go on no more, the prayers of those who she guided reached her and the Goddess of Justice was truly born.
