The Burning

While goblins are mostly nomadic, it is important to them all to come together when one of their own has passed on to the great beyond with their god Ezelrian. Caravans will gather together, making camp for the next week as preparations begin.
There are four days of feasting and drinking, honoring those that have passed, and celebrating the living. After night falls on the fourth day the feasting ends and preparations for the burning are completed. Bodies are

History

The first prophet of Ezelrian in the year 130 BF performed a five-month-long ritual to commune with the god of fire and learn what teaching he wished to pass down to his children. Among the many teachings that the prophet returned with, one was the ritual of The Burning.
