Urva
Urva is a created fleshwarp, a person brought back to life through unknown sciences and magics on a laboratory table out of composite parts, by a man named Echo.
Urva remembers little, except that she had a traveling companion she cared very much about. She also remembers that she is on a journey to find the golden city, and was called on a past quest to make it there; she remembers this with great importance and wants to complete it above all else, her last and greatest promise.
From her waking point, Urva has made it a temporary mission to be selected again for a new journey for the golden city. She knows she was close the last time, and just has to try again.
Making promises
Urva's promises are lifebonding to her, both important to make and to keep. "A monster can be smart. A monster can be caring. A person is worth it for their promises, and a promise is worth the person" someone once told her. She doesn't know who, anymore. Urva makes small wooden tokens with a symbol engraved into them, some of them paired. Each tied to a small leather string, to be hung around the neck. To her, each represents a single promise made and serves as an every day reminder. When the promise is kept, failed or no longer valid, she removes it, but otherwise she keeps them in perpetuity. She had two with her things already when she came back to life. One is for her journey to find the golden city. The other is a mystery to her.
