Dragons of Old

Very few still live who remember a time when dragons roamed the world and patrolled the skies. And none of them have an answer as to why or how the dragons all suddenly vanished around 270 PIC. However, those scant survivors describe how the various types of drakes had massive impacts on the societies of the time: some drakes would aid civilizations, be that as protectors, benevolent leaders, or wise counsels; others were scourges to civilization, raiding for treasure, forming insidious cults which worshipped them, or simply destroying for the sake of their own amusement.
