21st day, Mon Teloiv, 588 P.I.C. - When a group of apparent adventurers arrived in the hamlet seeking to help with their manticore problem, Otty was still the Deputy to the Allanach Estates Sheriff, and was in a panic because her superior had been missing for days. She escorted the group that would come to be known as the Hope Bringers down to the site of the manticore's attacks, then returned home to keep the hamlet safe. When the adventurers returned, Ottilg had fallen asleep on watch. In dealing with the beast, they had recovered the previous Sheriff's badge. As the newly minted Sheriff, Otty led a group the following day to recover what valuables they could from the fallen manticore's lair. 23rd day, Mon Teloiv, 588 P.I.C. - Ottilg sent a letter to the Hope Bringers to update them on what she and her group accomplished when going to the manticore's lair. She mentioned finding its offspring and her intent to tame it, and thanked the adventurers again for their aid as well as the amount of coin they left behind.
