Night of the Departed, 15th day of Mon Teloiv

A celebration and remembrance for the lives of the deceased. Common decorations include candles, Valley Spirits, banners and ribbons of dark cloth covered in brightly colored flourishes, and featureless yet elaborately decorated paper mache masks reminiscent of the god's visage. The traditional observance begins with families bringing the favorite foods of their deceased loved ones to their gravesites, placing it around while reminiscing their most memorable and cherished moments.
