Abyssal Ocean

The Abyssal Ocean exists at the center of Dynrok's hemispheric map. It is the ocean on which nearly all international trade and transport is routed.
The Abyssal Ocean gets its name from its depth; it is the deepest ocean in the world. Not to mention certain legends surrounding the Abyssal Ocean of whole ships being dragged down by colossal sea-monsters, such as Krakens. While this has been known to occasionally happen throughout history, it is exceptionally rare. So much so that the Abyssal Ocean is actually considered to be one of the safest oceans in the world to sail, second only to the Emerald Ocean.
