Channel Mana

Channeling mana is the process of manipulating and conducting mana, either from the immediate area around oneself, or from their inner reservoir. It is the simplest of all magical techniques, and although it's not technically considered a "spell", it is required for virtually every magical endeavor from casting spells to crafting alchemical items, and even using wands.
Any aspiring magician must first learn to channel mana before being able to perform any other magic.
