Nature Myth

Everything presented is subject to change as the adventuring party discovers hidden secrets.

Summary

This take on the Creation Myths holds that mortalkind is not the first to inhabit this world. They believe that those that came before assaulted nature with much fervor to improve their own well-being until nature unleashed its own fury. They theorize that only once nature had retaken what was hers, she created mortalkind once more.   They believe that The Primogenitors were forms that the spirit of nature took to be familiar to the mortals as she led them to how to coexist with nature. In this telling, when she finished imparting her teachings, the spirits remerged into the natural world, where they watch over mortalkind to see if they can coexist, or she must once again strike them again.

Historical Basis

Indeed, when the mortals found themselves on this world, the decrepit civilization had been overrun by vegetation. Perhaps, then, this myth is true.

Cultural Reception

This myth is held in high regard by many druidic circles. They believe the teachings of The Caretaker are the most important, and therefore promote interconnectedness between nature and the civilizations of mortalkind.

In Art

Depictions of this commonly show castles in ruins, surrounded by trees that easily dwarf them (though no such trees of such height is known to exist) and overgrown with massive vines, covered in thorns. The green moon, Baucury is generally depicted above, filling the sky with a light green hue.
