EveryAll Online

EveryAll Online (EAO) is the most immersive virtual reality experience the world has ever seen. Its concept debuted at PAX Dev Con in 2020 to rave reviews, using the prototype hardware. The reception was so positive, it garnered enough enthusiasm such that approximately one million subscribers were poised to enter its eight initial worlds at its game debut.

The Eight Worlds

At the point of EAO's full launch out of beta, the player has the option of choosing one of eight complete universes or "worlds" as they are called. The developers have not only promised expansions to these worlds, but additional worlds as well. For now the current menu allow full immersion into the following:
  • The Aquileian Empire – the Roman-themed world of constant warfare, battle, and gladiatorial combat
  • AtlasLand – the Steampunk-themed world, filled with Victorian Era and Jules Verne themes
  • Extinction Valley – the post-apocalyptic themed world with everything from zombies and nuclear fallout to ecological collapse
  • The Hyades Cluster – science fiction, space opera, and science fantasy in a galaxy of stars, planets, asteroids, worm-holes, warp speed, aliens and spaceships.
  • The Nereidian Archipelago – nautical and historically inaccurate fantasy pirate themes along with the fabled lost city of Atlantis
  • Pleiadia – medieval fantasy themes and classic RPG settings of myth & magic
  • Tenebras Noctem – horror, Gothic and Lovecraft themes, including alien abductions and cryptozoological encounters
  • The Wuxia Dynasty – is one of the most chaotic, which became a kind of "catch all" for all things related to the Far East. Some is historically accurate, such as regions and mechanics similar to that of the Western Aquileian Empire simulations. Other parts of this world are based heavily on Japanese anime and manga themes or Korean themes. Expect a great abundance of martial arts.

Utility

Purely entertainment. Critics and moralists claim it is addictive and corrupts the youth, while advocates invent other "useful" aspects, like education, rehabilitation, etc.

Access & Availability
EAO is free to play, available through all the major content delivery systems. The VR hardware is unique, and while AEO can be played using other hardware systems, the fullest experience comes using EveryAll technology. This being the case, the selling of the VR interface hardware is the primary form of the company's revenue.
Complexity
The VR hardware is unique, and so complex and advanced, it cannot be reverse-engineered.   If EAO virtual reality hardware is used, the interface with the player is virtually seamless. For completely historical "reality", the user wouldn't know the difference. For additional mechanics, like the use of magic, telepathy, or other unusual abilities, it is easy to learn and implement.
