Ghost of Wave breaking
Lord of these seas, would you grant us the honor of playing a game with us? If we win, let us go. If you win, we will submit to our fate.-Wendelin Ambrosius zu Bücherfelde on one of his journeys-
On the edge of the coast of Ùùqîîhrûbo (Wave breaking) lies an ancient ship cemetery. The ghost of a water dragon haunts this place, first captivating ship crews so that the ships run aground and sink, and then he can take possession of their treasures. The dragon's skin is transparent, but has a slight white pearlescent sheen, which makes it appear white from a distance. His eyes sparkle red and he loves puzzles. This is the only thing that stops him from capsizing a ship and eating the crew.
These are the puzzles, Wendelin asked the dragon. Can you solve them?
- We are like friends, but we never meet. We have a father, but no mother. One of us creates mountains, the other creates valleys. What are we?
- I am one of three siblings and appear in many different forms. But I only live when it is very cold. What am I?
- My name is divine, but I am not immortal. Shepherds worship me, but I am not a god. Who am I?
