Dhampir

Dhampir in the world of E'ven-dra are the result of one of two possibilities. One they are the result of an individual undergoing traditional process of becoming a vampire, but something went wrong and they did not fully change. The second, believe it or not, is far more common, they are the unusual result of vampire and mortal having a child. In many cases these children are born from a preexisting relation between the parents. In the case were the vampire is female, this is often the case, were the child was already conceived before the change in the mother occurs. More often it is a male vampire and a female mortal that result in this unusual beings birth. Regardless of the Damphier’s parentage, they are still a being that carries many of the traits of its vampiric blood and in some cases it’s mortal lineage.
