Escola Libri
The centerpiece of Escola Libri is its spacious salle, a room dedicated to the practice and teaching of fencing. The walls are adorned with various fencing weapons—foils, épées, sabres—each with its own story. The wooden floor bears scuff marks from countless duels and drills, a testament to the salle's better days.
Despite the wear, there's a certain elegance to the room. Large windows allow natural light to flood in during the day, highlighting the dust motes dancing in the air. The ambiance shifts with the presence of Geraldo and any students—during lessons, the air vibrates with the sounds of clashing steel and Geraldo's instructive shouts, a brief resurgence of the school's former vitality.
