The Verdant Codex

The Verdant Codex is a sacred tome, bound in covers made from the finest oak bark, intricately engraved with symbols of nature — leaves, vines, and animals. Its pages are made from a rare parchment that resembles thin layers of birch, smooth and durable, each leaf inscribed with the deep emerald ink extracted from the most vibrant forest berries. The book emits a soft, natural fragrance reminiscent of a forest after rain, and its presence is accompanied by a palpable sense of tranquility and reverence.   The Codex is kept on a stone pedestal in the most secluded part of the Temple of Elowen, bathed in light filtered through a stained-glass window depicting the cycle of seasons. It is a source of wisdom and guidance, its passages reflecting the voice of Elowen herself, offering counsel and comfort to the High Druidess in times of need.
