The Elgella family was very old, with the family history going back for hundreds of years, yet it was unremarkable in every way for a very long time. The family had neither much in the way of resources or influence.

With the last member, Taenya, this changed in an interesting way. She proclaimed that being powerless would become her family names motto. Through the publicity that this rejection of wealth and influence Taenya became well known and as a result, rather influential in her own way.
