Lagomorphs
In 1793, there was a fifth founder of Eaglesclaw named Jennifer Bonplante. She was the first orphan adopted by Gretchen Grizzleheart and also had a passion for herbology. She went on an exploration with her cousin, Alexandre Bonplante, to what is now Mexico.
On their expedition, Jennifer discovered a lost tribe of Montezuma. She had been given a map by Madora Merdock. Jennifer, learned from the tribe that there was a magic flower, the Night Blooming Cerus that when pulverized by an enchanted stone can be used to create the elixir of life - a potion that grants eternal life.
Jennifer was overcome with the potential to live forever and becomes obsessed with finding the enchanted stone. She found the stone among the belongings of Madora Merdock and created some of the potion. She took some herself and gave some to her students in 1805 creating the first Lagomorphs, her followers. The elixir worked, but it also made those who took it completely bonkers.
When the other founders figured out what was happening, they stole and hid the enchanted stone and cast Jennifer and her Lagomorphs out of the castle and put protections around the castle to keep her out.
She has organized several attacks on Eaglesclaw in the last year, one by using Polyjuice potion and one by sending a Wendigo into the school who took the spirit of Merdock with him when he departed.
