The Poles
Geography
Okay well I'm not gonna try to be poetic about this, but so Eainor is a spherical planet, and at the top and bottom of it, or the poles, there're these two big perfectly circular seas. When the Haendorionae were created, their civilization was at the perfect halfway point between the two seas. I would say equator but Eainor isn't shaped exactly like earth (cuz earth's equator protrudes a bit and it's hotter and Eainor doesn't have that). The season spirits also follow a path that goes from pole to pole and goes right in between The Great Dragon Pillars, which are located at the center of what was once Haendorian civilization.
And so Eainor not only rotates horizontally to make days, but it also rotates vertically, and one cycle takes like ten thousand years and I haven't even planned that far in my world but viola. But as Eainor rotates, the seas stay on the top and bottom while the land moves under them and comes out the other side.
And in the center of these seas are two small, perfectly circular islands; the resting places of the Sun and Moon. Unlike the rest of Eainor, these islands remain in the center of their respective seas (Moon North, Sun South).
