Vongtaur
Vongtaur, also known as warstaffs are versatile and deadly weapons. They usually reach to about an average Man's chin, but their length varies according to the height for whom they were made. Fixed to each end of the staff are two weighty metal hammer heads with pointed ends. The surface area of the front end of the hammer is about the same as an average Man's fist. The weight of the hammer heads is such that they can be swung with massive momentum. The pointed end of the hammer (which points perpendicularly from the length of the staff) protrudes out as a spike that can be used somewhat as a hook that can be used to catch swords and pull them away from oneself. Vongtaur can vary greatly according to their use, of which there are many. Battle vongtaur can be designed heavy for smashing through armor or lighter for more defensive positions of disarming enemies. Close combat vongtaur are usually lighter and slightly longer for more agility, but they can also sometimes be a shorter double set designed to be used as one in each hand. Some vongtaur are even used for climbing. Climbing vongtaur's heads aren't weighted, but they usually have approximately the same shape; however, sometimes the pointed ends are curved so that they can hook onto tree branches or cliff ledges.
