Nobutoki

The Nobutokis have ruled Shoyo for nearly 500 years, though they have had their fair share of troubles. Around 400 years ago Rokujou had seven sons who all fought over ruleship when their father passed this split the land with sons taking sections for themselves and then fighting to claim more land. With the last son Toki standing in the end he was a broken man and parted leaving very little advice to his son Goutou. Now Goutou was able to keep the kingdom stable for the most part but knew he lacked the skills to restore it to its former glory. Then Goutou noticed how his youngest son had far more intellect and ability than the older one so chose to break tradition and name Oda as his Successor.
