General Summary
The group Spent the night in an abandoned house
Dharkron and Ashtel convinced the guard that they were a gay couple who lured the previous house owner Dharkorns cousin out to a sandworm site where the house owner ignored their instructions and was eaten by a sandworm and as he was being eaten gifted the house to Dharkon and even though the previous owners parents should have inherited it they apparently were also eaten by a sandworm. the guards let them go under the condition that they provide a deed to the office within 24 hours.
the group then went to confront the former dragonborn general Xylax who agreed to spare the group as long as they promised that no more innocence would be harmed and that they would stop the devil infestation in the town of Mubeasau, he gifted them an electrum coin and instructed them to go to the tea house where the party met an air genasi by the name of Lady Alia she revealed the true nature of the gambling den how it and the brothel and all other locations are connected and that it shifts to the ethereal plane at night, she also gave the party information on the Beuracrat Emir Tariq who the party believes to be in possession of the magical deck of cards Malifax was seeking. with this information, the group preceded to make their way to Amir's residence in the hope that their dream bard could find a non-violent way to secure the deck
When we last left our adventurers Alexander the Human gunslinger, Ashtel the Dragonborn Drakewarden, Brenstine the Aasamir Scribe Wizard, Dharkon the Tiefling Dream Bard, Sarath the Earth Genasi Paladin and Nathanial the Werespider Bloodhunter: The party used their wits, not blades, to survive the night. Dharkon and Ashtel spun a fantastical tale to the guards, securing temporary ownership of an abandoned house (courtesy of a sandworm and some unfortunate relatives). They then faced the stern General Xylax, promising to uphold the city's safety in exchange for his mercy. With a coin in hand and newfound information from Lady Alia, an air genasi, they learned the city's dark secret: its locations shift to the ethereal plane at night, and Emir Tariq, the bureaucrat holding the coveted deck of cards, awaits their visit. Armed with this knowledge and a hopeful dream bard, the party set their sights on retrieving the deck without resorting to violence.
