The Old Warehouses

North side of Main Street, from West to Garrison. Constructed in the early nineteenth century, these great brick Georgian-styled warehouses have stood next to the river for a century.Most are unused, although a few local businesses use one or two for temporary storage from time to time. For example, Lucky Clover Cartage's business has been increasing and they have more vehicles than can fit in their current garage and they have leased a larger unit here. Watermarks five feet above ground can be seen on the sides of these buildings, from the flood of 1888.
