A fragment of ancient Damascus steel from the legendary magical blade of Excalibur. The shards are attracted to individuals with strong wills, good hearts, and honorable souls.
Within each shard carries a portion of Excalibur's power and grants a blessing of magic to the wielder. The power can be preordained or determined based on the when, where, and how the shard comes into contact with the individual.
