"Betwixt Earth's Soul and Heaven's Gaze" (a.k.a. Excalibur)
A young woman of earthly beauty that works as a nurse at Hillville Central Hospital. She encounters Liam at the Diamon High Pharmacy assiting his parents, before seeing him again at the downtown library as he's experiencing a panic attack. The two begin talking and cordially introduce themselves as she explains her love of myths and fantasy, which stems from her upbringing in the British Isles. Her natural charm and shy exchanges create an open and engaging environment for communication.
As their conversation continues, Ophelia reveals that he's awakening to her power and describes that power as being connected to the holy sword of Excalibur. As a spiritual construct of the blade, she was created through a unison of Liam's soul and Excalibur's dormant powers within a fragment that Liam came into contact with over the last few days. She introduces the power of Extend and informs him that something is amiss in the town of Hillsville. In promising him greater freedoms and wonder, Ophelia helps and tutors Liam on harnessing the power of Excalibur and guides him on a quest that breaks the barriers between normal and magical.
