You’re about to embark on an epic journey through the vast and thrilling Marvel Multiverse. It is a boundless expanse of alternate realities and dimensions, each with its own unique versions of characters and stories grounded in your base reality of Earth-196169. Bordering strange realities where there are no metahumans or enhanced individuals, or with a sliding timeline that erases events over 13 years ago, or even realities where the schemes of villains are solved like episodes in a television series or a movie franchise, Earth-196169 weaves through these realities sharing storylines and suffering incursions from those other planes.

Get ready to be amazed! While this Earth might seem similar to others, the intervention of higher beings and advanced extraterrestrial species has catapulted everyday life to new heights with cutting-edge sciences. Imagine living in a world where the Stark Industries Arc Reactor, the Wakandan Quinjet, Dr. Doom's Time Platform and advanced artificial intelligences like Ultron and the Vision are not just concepts but realities!
Though many futuristic technologies remain exclusive, some groundbreaking innovations have been shared with the public, such as anti-aging demethylation medication and superluminal communication. The inhabitants of Earth-196169 still navigate familiar social, political, and economic challenges yet enjoy a slightly more advanced technological landscape when compared to many other realities.
The Inspiration for Earth-196169
Up until recent years, I had a regular table-top RPG group that ran games weekly. After we played Enter: Hydra in the original Marvel Multiverse playtest, we decided to see how it played in a campaign setting. I created an initial timeline that was going to contain all of my favorite superhero-genre storylines. I decided that I would restrain that timeline back to just Marvel storylines, although my original temptation was to include DC, Spawn, TMNT, City of Heroes, Champions Online and others. The thought of really fleshing out my own expansive crossover universe kept tugging at me.
In the years after COVID, things changed quite a bit with the living situations and commitments among my table-top group and the regular games broke up. I still had an itch to play, however. So, I thought perhaps I'd turn my passion for table-top gaming into a gig by running games as a professional GM and providing insights and advice through streams. I decided to start with Marvel Multiverse because Marvel has a strong following, the system is fairly easy (especially through Roll20), and that would give me the opportunity to flesh out my crossover universe. I may add more from the world of comics later, like TMNT, Powerpuff Girls or Invincible. For now, strap in and get ready for some action.
