A beautiful country with a wondrous history spanning centuries. There are several ports and tourist cities throughout. One of the centers of romanticism and many a Gothic architecture. They are the center of artful cuisine, beautiful music, and immaculate art that can drive even the strongest man to tears.
The main cities the layman knows of are Paris, Bordeaux, Marseilles, Lyon, Toulouse, and Nice.
The main language is French, though locals may know English, German, and many other languages found within the New European Union (NEU).
The politics are so-so, nothing to truly write home about. They suffered under a tyrant between 2267 and 2280, closed off from the world for years. From 2280 to present, they have had small local governments joined together to form the Republic of France Royal Court.

Geography

Lush hills, cobblestone streets and sidewalks. The most notable river is the Seine in Paris. There are several port cities in the North and South. Farmland and modern cities meet in eternal harmony. The Atlantic Ocean to the West and Southwest of the country.

Fauna & Flora

Beautiful National Parks throughout the country with many species of animal and plants, mainly trees. The locals of France harvest only the rarest of the plants for monies and medicines. The regular animals they hunt are the deer and an invasive monkey species brought in by the tyrant of old.

Natural Resources

The main resource in France, nowadays, is the fallen wood in the forests and the hunting and slaughter of the weakest animals in the country. In 2067, they founded a deposit of silver which helped the country flourish for years to come. By the time 2267, the silver ran out and the country took a dip in their economy. Until 2280, wood became the toast of the world and with such a rare variety of trees, France went back to the top of the ladder in the economy.
