Laura Enise Bolster (a.k.a. Lunchlady)
Laura Enise Bolster is the head chef of the Manhattan Academy for the Gifted's Main Cafeteria. She is nearing her retirement, but still enjoys feeding and nurturing the youth of the Academy. Her no non-sense attitude can deter many students from engaging with her outside of the Main Cafeteria, but once she gets to know someone she shows her caring, motherly side.
History
Laura was born to a small fishing family from Port Hardy, British Columbia. She spent most of her childhood near the ocean, learning to to catch, trim, and cook fish. It would be only natural that she would pursue a career in cuisine.
She attended the Northwest Culinary Academy Of Vancouver where she met her husband, Fred Jolanda on a daytrip to the Vancouver Aquarium. The two fell madly in love and wed shortly after her graduation from cooking school.
The pair lived in several small towns across British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba. Eventually she was given an opportunity in New York at the restaurant Upland. Her husband protested, but she followed her dream regardless. The couple would be divorced with a couple years and Laura would never wed again.
She comfortably lived a singles' life in New York and adjusted to a more sporadic and chaotic work schedule of the restaurant business. She eventually settled into institutional work and acquired years of experience as a cafeteria worker.
It was shortly after the Manhattan Academy for the Gifted opened its doors that she would find herself employed there. Within a decade's time, she was the head chef of the entire Academy, and responsible for the Main Cafeteria. She has been working there diligently ever since, eagerly anticipating her retirement.
Personality
Laura is a take no non-sense individual who will call you out and put you in your place. She is "at that age" where she has no filter left and no hesitation letting someone know when they've crossed the line.
If you haven't gotten on her bad side, she is quite the caring individual who has a genuine heart of gold. She cares for all the students of the Academy and even harbors close relationships with many of the other faculty members.
She's not looking for a new husband, but she can be a massive flirt towards older (more successful) men. She claims she has had a romantic relationship with Tony Stark in the past, but that has never been confirmed.
While a little hardened around the edges, Laura remains a good woman at heart. Those who have had the pleasure of getting to know her cherish the time they spend in her company.

She carries a zippo lighter that was her ex-husbands as well as a Silver Pack of Marlboro. She typically carries a heavy laddle or spatchel she uses to deter students from disobeying school rules and guidelines.

General Physical Condition
She is an aging, older woman who is near retirement, though her demeanor and looks could fool anyone. She's portly, with a little more to love than most, but still in decent shape for a woman her age and shows no signs of slowing down.

Motivation
Her primary motivation is to reach retirement without loosing it on a student at the Academy. Other than that, she actually does care for the students' well-being and nutrition. She strives to cook good meals thats the students will actually enjoy.
