Unlike his mutant parents, Jeanne Gray and Curt Vagner, Erik did not inherit the X-Gene and mutants' inherent abilities. Nevertheless, his unyielding dedication to the cause led him to become a technologically empowered hero.   Erik's journey is marked by his commitment to seeking justice for mutants who face persecution and discrimination. Utilizing his inventive genius, he crafted a powerful suit that grants him teleportation abilities, allowing him to swiftly navigate the battlefield and confront threats. Despite lacking innate mutant powers, Erik compensates with exceptional close-quarter combat skills, tactical acumen, and fearless determination.   Driven by a burning desire for justice, Erik, as the Xecutioneer, operates on both Earth-816 and Earth-618. His teleportation technology, coupled with the ability to phase physical matter, makes him an elusive and formidable adversary in combat.
