The Dissolution of the Avengers

Disbandment

The Avengers disband after an unknwn disagreement.

Late in 2005 during what is known as the war on terrorism (2001-Current), many Avengers were deployed (through S.H.I.E.L.D.) in the Middle East. Disagreements on how things should be handled overseas quickly tore the Avengers apart. There is very, very little known about what details or information was discussed that led to the Avengers’ dissolution.
