Shard of the Nexus - Team Lambda

This world, Team Lambda, contains a shard of The Nexus. Denezins of this world or universe may travel to and from the Nexus and its connected worlds provided that this realm has a means of traveling there.   Individuals or entities of this world have access to the Nexus - Right of Combat, which allows access to, and use of Nexus Node - "The Arena". This also includes access to Nexus Node - "The Atelier" Nexus Node - "The Cataclysm" as well as access to other Nexus Nodes.   Parallel continuity is enforced here, should there be an existence-ending event within a related realm, leaving this one unaffected.   It is to be noted that the technology of this realm is not to the point of instantaneous and/or willful transmission to the Nexus or any of its connected entities. This means that almost no inhabitants of this realm are aware of its existence.

Manifestation

Those traveling between worlds may hear a voice informing them of the changes they are undergoing. Entities who attempt to use abilities or items not suited for the world may experience side effects or penalties. These include, but are not limited to:
  • headache
  • diarrhea
  • upset stomach
  • nausea
  • fatigue
  • hallucinations.
Restrictions imposed by the Node Master of the realm may also be enforced directly by the Node Master as they see fit, including requesting reinforcements from the Nexus. Other imposed restrictions include:
  • Various technical mishaps: access denied, 404 errors, incorrect orders received (and lack of issuing of a refund).
  • Being marked as a hostile entity by targeting systems.
  • Detainment by law enforcement.
  • Being asked for Identification abnormally frequently.

Localization

Team Lambda is a sci-fi realm. Denizens of other realms may have their abilities adjusted to fit into this realm. The following changes may (not exhaustive) be made for balancing purposes:   Magic does NOT exist. These are some of the expected changes in place of magical affinities:  
  • Fire affinities may become proficiency in firearms, munitions, or pyrotechnics.
  • Wind affinities may become more agile, faster, or have high general dexterity. Linguistics are also a possibility
  • Water may include an inclination towards recovery knowledge and/or skills. randomly acquiring knowledge of interrogation tactics such as waterboarding is also on the table. Being a good swimmer will likely be a thing too.
  • Earth affinities may have a higher constitution, and become resistant to impacts, minor damage, and are generally healthy. They may also seem physically imposing, even if they are of small stature.
There is no resurrection in this realm, however a person can generally be saved if they are recovered before they die.
