Slammers

Team Lambda's relegation to "Section L" was an action with multiple meanings and reasonings.
The team could theoretically be too large to leave scattered across the agency grounds, and doing so could endanger individual members. It would also be easier to maintain (or ignore) the team's equipment and operations if they were centralized. Those were the schools of logic behind the decision to move them, but there was a second 'sanctuary' granted to them right under the noses of everyone who wasn't part of the team.
Several meters under "Section L", on its own power supply and privately stocked, is the "Slammers" bar. It is Team Lambda's exclusive bar, visited and maintained by a select few. Lambda's last bastion against the shenanigans of the agency, and the only place they know of that is truly their own.
It's where they go to get away from everyone and everything except themselves. It is the only place that they feel like they are not being watched.

Purpose / Function

Slammers is Team Lambda's exclusive bar, meant to help keep them away from other people that don't like to play nice, and are even less inclined to do so when inebriated.
Other purposes of this installation are currently unknown.

Entries

There is a freight-capable elevator, a service shaft leading from the surface, and 2 large yet well camouflaged doors.

Denizens

The only people who have been seen here are members of Team Lambda by other members of Team Lambda, though none of them seem to know who keeps the bar stocked, and Rinoa will not tell them.

Special Properties

This room has air ducts for ventilation, as well as a separate and dedicated air filtration system, and a dedicated power supply which is run by an underground stream. Lambda is not aware of it, but the bar could effectively be used as a bunker.

Architecture

The external architecture is basically a box, as the structure is underground. It is made from reinforced concrete along with layers of shielding for various things.
The primary aesthetic internally is a classy bar with an oak finish.

Defenses

The bar is made of reinforced concrete and has radiation shielding. It also has a dedicated power supply and air filtration systems. Its primary defense is the fact that almost nobody knows it exists.

History

The short history of this place is a bit of a storied one. There was the time Jesse raided a portion of the bar's liquor stock for ingredients in a new explosive compound. There was the time Jessica chased David with a katana, only to be stopped by Michelle's knife throwing (the holes are still there), and there's any major event that people wanted to celebrate in peace.
Birthdays, Christmas, graduations, promotions, catastrophic failures, deaths, and any other event that involves either drinks, small gatherings, or reflection. They have nearly all been held here, without fail.
