The beginning 1

Opening scene gives a brief summary about chi and its place in a warring states world. The manga starts a battle including the squad of daniel, fatty, emilio, etc. We are in a territorial squabble in the outer reachs of the empire for underground trade control. After winning the battle Chow is pumped up, and daniel is happy for now in his selfish way. We are preparing to press the attack on our enemies, but rumor has it they hired some league members to dispose of us. Chow wants to do some spying to figure out if there is any truth to this. Daniel says we have no need to fear and we have them on their back foot so we must attack now. Chow begrudgingly agrees. A new member of the crew asks "What is the League?" Daniel explains they are the worlds professional assassination group. Not many believe they exist, but they are known to be an Ancient Organization associated with the elements. League members are said to be able to use magic as well, although the average person currently has only heard legends. No proof or common belief that magic does exist. We sabotage the base of our rival gang. After we have sufficiently cleared out a lot of enemies either through death or incapacitation we storm through the base in formation cutting our way to their leader. Just as the group starts feeling high and saying Daniel was right a member savagely gets killed with a dagger to the face. After quickly noting the precision and power behind the dagger throw I dodge knowing one may be coming my way. Before I know it I look and 2 of my allies are dead, 3 gone, and only Daniel, Chow, and I left. I shout "What the fuck was that??". Chow responds "thats a league member protecting this place!" I shout "What is our plan now?" Chow yells "We get the fuck out of here!" I ask about Daniel to see he is attempting to duel the Assassin. Daniel is barely keeping up. Chow runs away, but I stay behind and sneak my way into the Rival Gangs store house to try and find something valuable. I find a letter with the league symbol on it, a token of blood (John Wick blood oath), and some gems. I quickly grab everything and start running away. I sense something coming at me quickly and I dodge again. This time dodging a flying dagger once again. This time the assassin is following up the dagger and instantly lands a hard kick on me. Injured, I am able to make my way outside before the next attack. After some dodging and deflecting I am hit again and end up on a cliffs edge. With another dagger already coming my way, and my body too injured to move again quickly I roll off the edge into the water below. Once falling I instantly pass out.
