The Messenger, the Wanderer, the Thief
Divine Domains
He is the god of business, travels, messengers and heralds. Most thieves consider him their saint patron and he often acts as a guide. On a side note, he is also the patron of sports facilities, where his bust is always present. He therefore protects athletes and is the founder of competitions.
Artifacts
Ferd mainly uses his
Caduceus in his travels.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
He is often pictured as a middle-aged bearded man carrying a caduceus and a money pouch. He either wears a beggar's or a merchant's attires, portrayed with a pidgeon or a ram.
Holidays
He is not celebrated on any day of the year but it is customary to place piles of stones in his honor at crossroads: each traveler add a stone to the building. These piles receive crowns, anointings, various gifts such as money, fruits, ears of corn, cakes, animal sacrifices. Any encounter, any event, any unforeseen accident on a road is called “Ferd's gift”.
As he is considered a messenger guiding recently dead people to the afterlife, a sacrifice is offered to him on the thirtieth day following the funeral.

Intellectual Characteristics
He is a benevolent god towards others and particularly, humans. He has the gift of speech and knowledge from his adventures. However, he is also resourceful, cunningly smart and lucky in his thieveries.

Likes & Dislikes
His favorite sacrificial victim is the ram and he is often depicted carrying one. As an offering, he also greatly appreciates pastries and, as the god of speakers, his favorite offerings are milk mixed with honey and animal tongues.
