Vìssna is generally represented as a young androgynous person with long hair, holding a lyre and a book. He wears a blue headband to hide his third eye.

His long, uncut hair symbolizes his youth but he can sometimes be portrayed as a child.

Holidays

He is celebrated during Vìssna's Feasts. A part of coming-of-age ceremonies is also dedicated to him as he is concerned with the health and education of children and he naturally wants to preside over their passage to adulthood.
