Cronus

Titanocetus cronus

Titanocetus cronus (Cronus) is a whale kaiju resembling a sperm whale. The kaiju has a much wider jaw than a typical sperm whale, with teeth rooted in both the upper and lower mandible. The pectoral flippers of Cronus are split in two, resulting in four pseudo-limbs. The cranium of Cronus is extremely dense and covered in bony knobs, and the spine is cushioned by a fatty substance that absorbs the kinetic force of the creature's tendency to ram objects.

Like many other whale species, Cronus possesses echolocation that is perhaps more advanced than anything currently known. Evidence shows that Cronus is far more sensitive to the bioacoustics of other animals, even surpassing Godzilla and Dagon. This would mean Cronus could be aware of the location, vitals, and mood of nearly every kaiju, and possibly every animal on Earth. The whale's sonar isn't just used for sensing its environment, as Cronus can focus its outgoing sound waves into a sonar-based attack, which can be used to deadly effect.

Cronus' light grey body is covered in incalculable scars from its never ending battles in the deep. Cronus is nearly constantly hunting, this is due to an almost hypervore level metabolism. To avoid decimating its environment and overhunting fish to fuel its massive body and depleting local radiation supplies, Cronus' risks hunting other large hyperfauna to feed on their radiation stockpiles and flesh.
