Deviljho

Deviljho gluttonus

Deviljho is a large Dracosaur in the family Hypercarnia. 20 meters long, 6 meters tall and weighing 10 tons, Deviljho is a top predator on Skull Island and considered a hypervore like the Skullcrawlers. Deviljho, although extremely aggressive, do not control territory instead they live a completely nomadic lifestyle, traveling around the island to avoid exhausting an area of prey items. Deviljho are not restrained to Skull Island, they’re able to traverse the dangerous ecosystems of the Hollow Earth caverns beneath the Island, however there have been no recorded cases of Deviljho being found anywhere else on the surface. These large dark green brute wyverns are capable of emitting a biologically organic chemical that when exposed to air ignites in a short range vapor-like cloud of Dragon Energy, a substance that burns similar to fire or atomic breath. The body of a Deviljho is covered with scar tissue and exposed muscle, these wounds are not sustained through injury rather when their adrenaline levels spike their muscle mass increases to the point where their skin can no long contain its mass, causing these tears. Steam and trace amounts of dragon energy is emitted from exposed muscle during these rage states. A Deviljho must consume at least its body weight in meat every day, Deviljho unable to feed with in a few days seem to undergo a transformation which has been dubbed the Savage Deviljho. Savage Deviljho are superficially the same as a regular Deviljho with only a few key differences, Savages are darker green and exposed muscle around the neck and shoulders are constantly producing huge clouds of dragon energy, Savages are also suffering hunger induced psychosis. A Savages rampage can only be quelled be the animal getting enough food to stabilize itself or when it starves to death which will occur on an average of 3 days after the transformation began.
