King Murderfish

Commanding a horde of eusocial underlings, the sub-kaiju known as King Murderfish are the locusts of the Hollow Earth seas. The majority of these swarms are made up of small offspring referred to as murderlings, and each school is centered by a large parent, which is known as the king murderfish. King Murderfish can reach up 70 meters in length, while Murderlings reach only around 10 meters. The Pectoral fins of the King Murderfish had adapted into pseudo-arms, ending in three clawed fingers, these allow the fish to grab and hold large prey while its jaws tear into them. King Murderfish produce their swarms asexually, meaning all murderlings in a school are copies of the single king murderfish. Murderfish hunt similar to piranha, swarming prey far larger than themselves, weakening them for the King Murderfish to come in and finish the kill. The King Murderfish will then process the carcass, using its massive bone plates that act as teeth to rip the carcass apart, while it feeds on the biggest chunks, the debris flying off during the feeding frenzy are fed upon by the murderlings. Murderfish can completely wipe out entire local ecosystems if left unchecked, swarms of these creatures quickly attract the attention of larger kaiju which will exterminate them with similar prejudice seen with the Mutos.

Murderfish do not have any extraordinary abilities aside from an almost hivemind-like level of coordination, to which the extent of is unknown due to the hostile nature making study difficult.
