Leafwing

Vultura folium

Leafwing is a highly specialized flying reptile related to the Psychovulture with a wingspan of 1-2 meters long. Leafwings possess pronounced rostrum-like horns on their foreheads, covered in spines, these spines possess an anesthetic agent. This reduces the victim's sensitivity to pain, thus allowing the Leafwing to attack and eat its prey without contest or resistance from its victim. Similar to the Psychovulture the Leafwing see in thermal vision. Leafwings travel in huge flocks which they use to their advantage when camouflaging, Leafwings gather on dead trees and with their leaf-like wings, will appear to be a healthy tree. Leafwings work together to lift medium sized animals into the air where they will use their rostrums to dismember them.
