Mothra

Deusagentia mosura

Deusagentia mosura (Mothra) is the a butterfly-like kaiju and core deity of the Shobijin people. Specialized cells on her wings and body are capable of producing beta-wave bioluminescence. She uses this as a form of communication and can weaponize it to create brilliant, near-blinding 'god rays' of blue light or angelic-looking golden-white light. These god-rays are powerful enough to almost-instantly disperse storm-clouds and produce mighty winds. The end of the abdomen is tipped with a large stinger connected to a venom sac, this venom is a Neurotoxin however it is almost never delivered in deadly doses, instead just enough is pumped into an enemy to cause temporary paralysis. The scale dust produced by Mothra's wings can be used to produce bolts of lightning and when dispersed off her body can create a form of shield that deflects energy based attacks back at the attacker. Mothra is said to have a complex telepathic bond with two designated Shobijin priestesses known as the Elias, or Moth Priests as well as a strong connection to an artifact known as the Moth Amulet.
