Nozuki

Vellum vespertilio

Nozuki (Vellum vespertilio) is a species of hyperfauna serpent native to the Hollow Earth. This kaiju is territorial and aggressive, willing to combat other kaiju above its own weight class. Superficially resembling a cobra, however Nozuki can use their membranous wing-like hoods to both fly and glide through the air. They are agile fliers and display excellent maneuverability. The average Nozuki can move through the air at a maximum speed of 72 MPH, or about 115 KPH, and glide at 46 MPH, or about 74 KPH. Nozuki are highly venomous and can inject some 9,800 gallons of venom into their prey in a single bite through their 4 meter long fangs located on the bottom jaw, this venom is used to eventually tire and paralyze other kaiju.

Nozuki hunt in bonded pairs, working together to restraint prey using their hoods and long bodies to constrict before deliver their venom. The Nozuki have an average bite force of 5,900 pounds per square inch, and can strike at an opponent at speeds of 121 miles per hour.

Nozuki are not geographically restricted and can be found nesting in any region around the Hollow Earth however the majority of their population resign in the continent of Lemuria. Archeological sites discovered on this continent feature artistic depictions of this kaiju alongside others, including Kongs. Studies show potential evidence that a population of Nozuki were once domesticated by the Kong species and used during times of war with other kaiju.
