Skull Island Gaur

Bos gaurus skullus

The Skull Island Gaur is the one of the few species confirmed to have been introduced by the ancient ancestors of the Skull Island’s human population. The “People of The Wall” still have a few domestic herds of the bovine however the collapse of their empire left many herds to become feral, despite the numerous predators on the island the Gaur’s population thrived. Huge herds travel across the open fields and even in the jungles. Strangely enough Sker Buffalo herds tolerate Gaurs to herd with them, possibly explaining how the original escaped Gaurs were able to survive without human assistance. Venatosaurus seems to have made the Skull Island Gaur the bulk of its diet.
