Dante Phoenyx (a.k.a. Azazel)

Dante is a student at Champion University, and is in the Storm Dorm. He can manipulate the shadows around him, but his real "superpower" is his fighting prowess. Dante doesn't really like talking with other people, and he doesn't actually like training to become a hero.

Personal history

Both of Dante's parents were pro heroes, in fact they were a duo called the Shadow Boxer. His dad could control shadows at will, and his mother was a master of martial arts. Even though he inherited his dads metahuman ability, his mother still wanted him to learn how to protect himself in close quarters combat. Dante became sort of a martial arts prodigy, gaining 3 black belts in various martial arts by the time he was 15. However, things were about to take a turn for the worse for Dante. 
A year later, both of Dante's parents were called to a mission, and Dante wanted to watch the fight on tv. Except this fight didn't end like it was supposed to, and Dante rushed to the hospital. By the time he got there his mom had already passed away, but his dad was still alive for now. As his dather was dying Dante couldn't do anything but watch. His dad died soon after.
Dante was 16 at this point, and had started doing vigilante activities at night. He was trying to find and track down his parents killers. 2 years go by and Dante still hasn't found anything, but he had made a name for himself at this point, Azazel. It was at this point that Dante got scouted by CU and was offered to enroll in the next term for the fall. Dante agreed. because he knew that he'd be able to train with the best of the best and track down his parent's killers even easier.
