Me?
Are you talking to me?
Oh, but I'm no one of any importance. At least, that's the vibe I enjoy giving off. You don't see me. I was never here. I am an invisible man.
*sigh* But since you have noticed me and you seem to have a great many questions...fine. Let's do this.
I am Petrov. That might be my first name. Might be my last name. I'm under no obligation to tell you which. I am a Dark Elf, as I'm sure you've noticed. Short height---no taller than 5'3". Average weight. Not fat. Not thin. No unusual features. At least, none that are obvious. The skin around my eyes is a dense black color, but you could easily attribute that to eye make-up. Maybe you'd be right. Or not. Dark brown hair, shoulder length, completely covers my ears. Do I have wings? Maybe. Maybe not. Again, there's no need for me to tell you that.
But anyway. I'm sure that even you can sense the magic radiating from my body. I have access to all four elements: fire, air, water, and earth. But there is one more that I can use.
Darkness.
Darkness is my favorite element to utilize. With it, I can be invisible. I can enter rooms without opening doors. I can do my spying for Mark Caten and never be caught. Not even the fey queen Preyuna can detect my presence.
With my darkness magic, I can even create impassable walls that no can tear down. You can pound on it with your fists. It won't shatter. You can attack it with vampire claws. It won't be scratched. You can throw things at it. Not even a dent.
Oh? You would like a demonstration? Very well. What would you like to see? Fire? Really? After all of the talking up I did for my darkness magic, you want to see fire?
Fine.
All I have to do is hold my hands like this, wave my hands like this, and say, "Kah heya." See? One fireball, just for you. Of course, there is so much more I can do with my fire magic, but I rarely feel the need to do so. I like my darkness magic too much.
I prefer to lurk, safe and hidden, in the shadows.
I like the first-person breaking-the-fourth-wall approach. :D
