Teleportation

In my story's world, transportation is still by usual means: car, train, truck, plane, and so on. But that all applies to humans and most extraordinaries.   Fey, on the other hand, are able to teleport themselves and whatever they can personally carry to far locations. The way they do it is simple. They close their eyes and visualize the distance between their current position and where they want to go. The spaces in between the two locations appear as a series of arches inside their mind. They mentally compress those arches into one solid arch and boom! They've teleported to the other location.   It's instantaneous. There isn't any light show as they travel, nor any sensation of movement.   Some sensitive individuals may vomit from such travel, but that isn't very common. Usually, it is non-fey who have that reaction from teleportation.   While that all sounds wonderful and convenient, there are some small drawbacks. Fey can only teleport to places that they have physically traveled to. So, they can't just teleport themselves to the moon or anything outlandish like that....unless they've already traveled to the moon. They don't have to actually walk that whole distance. Travel by car or other means is sufficient enough for them to visualize that distance later.   Also, they can only teleport things/people that they can hold in their embrace. So, they can't teleport a semi-truck or anything oversized like that.   This is a very underutilized skill in the human world, mainly because most humans and extraordinaries don't trust fey. They fear, not just the fey's teleportation ability, but all of their abilities: teleportation, telepathy, transformation, and, of course, their tendency to play tricks on unsuspecting people. They say things like, "If I trust a fey to teleport my world of goods from here to there, who even knows where my precious things would wind up? With a fey, there's just no knowing."
